Pope Benedict XVI

From his recent writings: "Wherever possible, it would be appropriate, especially in densely populated areas, to set aside specific churches or oratories for perpetual adoration," he adds. "I also recommend that, in their catechetical training, and especially in their preparation for First Holy Communion, children be taught the meaning and the beauty of spending time with Jesus, and helped to cultivate a sense of awe before his presence in the Eucharist."

Father Antoine-
First of all, God Bless You and your continued efforts with the Children of Hope!
Could you let me know the date that Pope Benedict spoke about including adoration as part of the children's catechetical instruction. Was this in his new book "Sacrament of Charity"? I know he talks a lot about the eucharist in the book but haven't seen it yet to read.
I am in total agreement with it being included in the children's religious education.
thanks so much for all you are doing! God Bless you!.
